 10. If I want to go from a –8AN to a –6AN, what will I need to do this?
Typically, traditional fittings would require 3-5 different p/n’s to make this connection. Using the Jiffy-tite product this is accomplished with only 2 fittings. For example, you can take p/n 31608 (p/n 31608 is a 3000 series socket with a –8AN reusable nut) and connect it to p/n 32606 (p/n 32606 is a 3000 series plug with a –6AN reusable nut). By flowing through your –8AN (p/n 31608) into your –6AN (p/n 32606), you have just gone from a –8AN to a –6AN, by using just one plug and one socket. This would not only save money but would also eliminate the use of multiple bulky fittings, eliminate unnecessary weight, and would help free up space.
